What changed in the API and the MCP server, newest first. v1 only gains things: nothing is removed or renamed (see Versioning).

2026-10-31: MCP server

• The MCP server, at https://app.spendbaker.com/sb_back/mcp: AI assistants read Spendbaker through this API, with an access key.
• Claude, Claude Code and ChatGPT sign in with Spendbaker instead of using a key. The apps signed in are listed in Settings › API & Keys, under Connected apps.

2026-10-26: v1

The first version of the API, read-only.

• Access keys, created in Settings › API & Keys.
• GET /organization: who the key acts as.
• GET /users: the organization's members.
• GET /budgets and GET /budgets/{budget_id}, with the month filter.
• GET /budgets/{budget_id}/categories: a budget's categories, one level at a time.
• GET /expenses, with its filters.
• GET /vendors: the organization's vendors.
